Santa Barbara Tent Camping

Our Santa Barbara tent camping programs take place at a beautiful campground in Goleta, CA. The adjacent El Capitán State Beach offers visitors a sandy beach, rocky tide pools, and stands of sycamore and oak along El Capitán Creek. Located right on the ocean, this program offers coastal day hiking, ocean kayaking, llama farm and organic farm tours, beach play, education on the native Chumash, and outdoor leadership activities.

Students sleep in tents and meals are prepared by our outdoor chefs. Positive Adventures programming not only takes advantage of the campground’s natural surroundings but also has strong elements of leadership and team building built into the curriculum.

Accommodations
Students and chaperones will be sleeping in tents at an established campground near El Capitán State Beach. 

Food
Food and snacks throughout the day will be provided by a Positive Adventures Outdoor Chef. Our meals are healthy, locally and organically inspired, and food allergies are taken into account.
