Summer Day Camp
Snorkeling & Bonding
In the morning group games and team-building exercises help campers get acclimated and feel connected to the group. We get the opportunity to have an underwater adventure while snorkeling in Mission Bay. Each camper will wear a wetsuit to stay warm, and use a flotation device if desired. Campers will discover orange garibaldi, moray eels, sea cucumbers and other marine life.
Surfing
In the morning we have time to build sand castles together at Mission Beach! We've got all the buckets and shovels, just bring your imagination.
In the afternoon campers get private surf instruction with wetsuits to stay warm. The waves are big and bold, but we are always in water we can stand in.
Kayaking
We explore the marina, the bay, and Bonita Cove. Everyone is in a tandem kayak with a buddy and wears a Personal Flotation Device. We sing and laugh as we paddle, and we say hi to the big pack of Sea Lions as they nap and play!
Our day begins with a water safety briefing and then we head out to look for pirate ships and buccaneers. In the afternoon we eat lunch and play on the beach after we park our boats, and then begin our journey back to shore.
Climbing
Indoor rock climbing is the ultimate "Challenge by Choice" activity. Stretch yourself and reach just a bit higher at a climbing gym in Mira Mesa...if you choose to! Plenty of structures, shapes, and heights to attempt.
After a safety briefing it's time to channel your inner monkey and climb! The afternoon holds more climbing and some cool camp games for those who are tuckered out.
Hiking & Beach Scavenger Hunt
We are excited to hike with you at beautiful Solana Beach! In the morning we will hike the stunning beach in search of sand dollars, seashells, crabs, fossils, and more. In the afternoon we host a picnic on the beach for the entire family with pizza, salad, and more before we say goodbye.
All parents, siblings and grandparents are invited for lunch at noon!
