Healthy families and confident children help enrich our community and society. Today’s youth are increasingly faced with unique challenges, stressors, and pressures that can be detrimental to their development.
Even in the most nurturing family environment, cultivating courage and individualization for adolescent children can be a daunting task because so much happens outside of the home.
Positive Adventures has partnered with many local San Diego schools and community-based organizations to provide the following programs:
- Ground Based/Low Ropes and Portable Challenge Course
- Ropes Course Team Development
- Rock Climbing
- Adventure Leadership
- Summer Camps
Some of our partners have used these programs for Freshman orientations, ASB trainings, sports teams, Senior retreats, after school curriculum enhancement, and school safety curriculum devlopment.
These programs are a great opportunity for students to build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, learn how to work in a team environment, and experience healthy risk-taking.
