Company Safety Protocols

Positive Adventures is committed to maximizing the protection, health and safety of all of our campers as well as our camp counselors. We are ensuring we are in full compliance with the CDC and ACA (American Camp Association) guidelines developed and designed for how companies and individuals can function safely during the COVID-19 pandemic and will be implementing additional internal protocols within our programs that go above and beyond the CDC requirements.

All camp counselors and youth camp participants will be temperature screened each morning prior to any outdoor activities. Additionally, each individual will be provided with personal hand sanitizers for periods within the day when counselors are conducting activities without physical exertion and within close proximity of other individuals.

About Positive Adventures

Founded in 2005 in San Diego, Positive Adventures is California’s premier experiential education company. We offer both single day and overnight outdoor education programs to a large number of the top Independent and Charter Schools around the State, with around 3,000 students each year attending our programs. In past years we’ve also run local outdoor Summer camps and decided to bring back our Summer offerings this year given the huge need in the community.

Our programs utilize the great outdoors, adventure sports and team activities to provide unique opportunities that create a platform of growth, personal achievement, and education experientially. We hire, train and retain the most experienced, committed and dedicated outdoor educators as staff. Their passion for the outdoors and teaching children shines through in everything we do. The students who attend our programs come away filled with confidence, excited about outdoor recreation, and their new found skills and friendships will last a lifetime.
